History of Graber

Graber Outdoors is a small second-generation business founded in 1999 by an Amish man seeking to support his family while working from home on the farm.

Jacob Graber retired from many years in the construction industry, built a small shop, and ventured into a lawn and patio business proudly formed as JAM Wood Products LLC. Jacob and his sons hand-built lawn furniture, playground equipment, and gazebos for many years.

John, the current owner, grew up working with his dad in the shop and quickly developed a passion for designing and building outdoor structures.

Graber Outdoors is a family-owned outdoor construction company rooted in craftsmanship and integrity. Founded in 2015 and inspired by the traditions of Amish woodworking, we bring over 40 years of combined experience to every deck, fence, and outdoor living project we build across the Midwest.

Serving homeowners and businesses throughout Kansas City, Lake of the Ozarks, St. Louis, Wichita, and surrounding communities, we specialize in vinyl decks, custom fencing, curved and custom designs, and full outdoor living transformations.
