Our deck footings are designed to withstand ground movement, and our fence materials are chosen for their resilience against UV radiation and moisture. Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from El Dorado homeowners about our services.
What are the downsides of vinyl fencing?
Vinyl fencing is fantastic for low maintenance, but it does have some drawbacks. The initial cost can be higher than wood. While durable, if a panel is damaged, it often requires replacing the whole section rather than just a board, which can be tricky. Colors are generally limited, and it's not paintable. In El Dorado, extreme weather like strong winds or hail could potentially cause damage, though it's generally very resilient.
How much does a 100 ft vinyl fence cost?
The cost for a 100 ft vinyl fence can vary significantly based on several factors, including the fence style, height, number of gates, and specific site conditions in El Dorado, Kansas. We recommend getting a personalized estimate. At Graber Outdoors, we provide free, no-obligation quotes tailored to your property and preferences, ensuring you get an accurate price for your project without any surprises.
Which is better, trex or vinyl fencing?
This is an interesting comparison! Trex is actually a brand of high-quality composite decking, renowned for its durability and low maintenance for decks. Vinyl, on the other hand, is a popular material specifically designed for fencing. While both offer excellent longevity and minimal upkeep, they serve different purposes. If you're looking for a new fence in El Dorado, vinyl is an outstanding choice for its strength and aesthetic versatility.
Is it cheaper to do a vinyl fence or a wood fence?
Initially, a wood fence typically has a lower upfront cost compared to vinyl fencing. However, it's important to consider the long-term value. Wood fences require regular maintenance like staining, painting, and repairs, which adds to the overall cost over time. Vinyl fences, while a larger initial investment, are virtually maintenance-free, saving you money and effort in the long run. Graber Outdoors can provide a detailed quote comparing both options for your El Dorado property.
